“The function, shape, and material must find the right balance to make the end result harmonious.”

As a designer, I am inspired by nature, its outlines and its magnificent colour range.

Harmonious product requires a successful balance between function, shape and materials. Finnish wood has always been my most important material – now also metal and upholstered furniture have brought new challenges.

My cooperation with Adea has been going on for over a decade. I appreciate Adea’s high-class, Finnish craftmanship and skilled teamwork. Developing a product can take some time, but the most important thing is a joint effort to complete the final result. I always try hold on to the starting point of our original idea and form. That’s what guarantees the product a personal stamp.
